Enrolment Procedures, Terms and Disclaimer
All information provided by participants will be used for registration and management of “InnoCarnival 2026” activities and related activities, as well as dissemination of related programme details. It is voluntary for participants to supply the personal data requested to The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and the information will be treated in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap 486) under the Law of Hong Kong. All personal information provided by participants will be destroyed after the completion of all activities relating to “InnoCarnival 2026”.
Participants shall agree and follow the terms below for registration:

Sign up a user account: Sign up a "Type A: Families / Small Groups / Individuals" Account OR "Type B: Schools / Groups / Charities" Account using a valid personal email address.
- "Type A: Families / Small Groups / Individuals" Account: Maximum 3 participants aged below 18 and 5 participants aged 18 or above could be registered under each Type A Account.
- "Type B: Schools / Groups / Charities" Account: Suitable for schools, organisations and charities. If groups would like to visit the physical exhibition of InnoCarnival 2026, please sign in the account and submit the "Registration Form for Group Visit/School Bus Rental Subsidy". School bus rental subsidy is only applicable for local primary, secondary, and special schools. Applicants must follow the instruction of application and submit the relevant documents.
- Valid email address is required for account registration and subsequent notification. Please check both "inbox" and "junk mail".
- When registering participant and contact information, please provide real name and valid contact phone number for the purpose of verifying registration details and facilitating communication. E-certificate of participation will be issued to participants attended the designated activities. Please ensure the name of participant and the email address are provided accurately for the certificate issuance.
- Sign in: Sign in to your account using your registered email address and password to proceed with activity or group visit registration(only available for Type B Account).

Activities registration: Select the activities according to dates, and target grade/age range of participants.
- All activities will be conducted in Cantonese unless specified.
- Each participant could online register a maximum of one physical activity on the same event day (Both physical workshops and physical parent-child workshops are regarded as one physical activity). Online registration closes three days before the activity date. The quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts.
- Each participant could online register a maximum of one online workshop on the same event day. The quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts.
- Each participant could online register multiple online seminars on the same event day. Online registration closes three days before the activity date. The quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts.
- All participants must register for activities according to their grade/age group. Time interval between registered activities must not be overlapped (including physical activities and online seminars).
- Participants of parent-child workshops must be accompanied by at least ONE, no more than TWO adults.
- "Type B: Schools / Groups / Charities" Account could NOT be used for application for InnoTech DIY@Home Learning Kit.
- Each participants from Type A Account could apply for a maximum of ONE set of InnoTech DIY@Home Learning Kit.
- Successful online registration for activities: Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email upon completing the online registration. A note will also be sent for cancelled registration. Applicants can review the registration record in the "Manage My Registrations" page after sign in the accounts.
- Application procedures for School Bus Rental Subsidy (Applicable only to local primary, secondary and special schools that have completed the "Registration Form for Group Visit / School Bus Rental Subsidy"): Upon successful registration, schools will receive an email containing either a "Preliminary Approval Letter" or a "Waitlist Notification Letter". Schools that receive preliminary approval must submit the hardcopy application form together with the required documents to the address specified on the form between 2 November and 30 November 2026 after the visit. Schools placed on the "Waiting List" will be notified of their final status in December 2026 at the earliest (the priority order on the waiting list will be determined by the system timestamp upon successful online submission of the registration). Schools issuing a "Preliminary Approved (Waitlisted Application)" must submit the hardcopy application form and required documents on or before 31 December 2026. Please pay close attention.

Physical Activities Check-in: Participants should arrive at the designated location and report to staff at the designated check-in time for on-site check-in according to instructions in the confirmation email / message.
- Participants must present the confirmation email / message for on-site check-in.
- The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify a participant from participating in the workshop if he/she fails to check-in at the designated location and report to staff at the designated check-in time specified in confirmation email / message.
- Regarding the Standard Time for the Activity: All activity times are governed by the standard time shown on the Hong Kong Observatory Time Server. For details, please refer to: https://www.hko.gov.hk/en/gts/time/clock_e.html
- Before departure, please ensure that the time on your mobile phone or watch is synchronized with the Hong Kong Observatory's time server on the day of the event. This will help avoid any discrepancies between your device's time and the official activity time during check-in.

Online Workshops Check-in: All online workshops will be conducted by designated Cloud Meeting Software. Meeting ID and password will be sent to participants by email and WhatsApp message before the activity day.
- Material packs (if any) will be delivered by courier regard to the applicant's provided address about one week before the activities are held. Please make sure that the address entered is correct. In case of loss or damage, the Organiser will not redistribute the material packs.
- Applicants can only enter ONE delivery address when registering for more than one participant for the same session of online workshop (with material packs). The delivery address will be based on the latest information submitted in our records. Applicants will receive an email after the material pack has been dispatched. Please pay attention to the delivery notice.
- Online Seminars check-in: Meeting ID and password will be sent to participants by email three days prior the activity day.
- Redemption of InnoTech DIY@Home Learning Kit: Applicants of InnoTech DIY@Home Learning Kit should redeem the kits in person at the designated date and venue. Instruction or tutorial video will be uploaded onto the innocarnival.hk website.
- The Organiser reserves the final rights of decision under all circumstances.
